Located in the regional park Scarpe Escaut, three minutes from Valenciennes, the vast stately residence of the sixteenth century and its park have been transformed into a place hosting seminars, residential seminars (with 17 rooms), receptions and weddings ... C ' is in the sixteenth century that everything begins; the lord of Aubry-du-Hainaut (Jean de Thiant) replaced between 1500 and 1520 the medieval castle by a Renaissance castle. Side street: the Flemish facade (Flemish Renaissance Spain,) in brick, decorated with small mullioned windows is revealed with its tower, similar to that of Palais Rihour of Lille. The house - like an island - is surrounded by the moats of the old medieval castle; it contains ancient secrets that can be discovered bypassing the castle. In the courtyard of the castle, once the village square, stands the pillory of seigniorial justice, a lion's head in the center. It is here, in public place, that the lord punished the criminals ...
