Welcoming tne newcomers at the Tourist Office in Valenciennes

The purpose of this service is to greet the newcomers, relocated or expatriate employees and executives, students, retired…., in Valenciennes and to deliver practical and touristic information about the Valenciennes areas.

Its main task is take into consideration the enlarging requests in terms of welcome of the newcomers but also to give a reinforced welcome service on its territory.

The actions for the newcomers

The Tourist Office provides an information relay so as to make easier the procedures relative to the settling in of the persons and to contribute to their integration in particular :

• To inform about the new environment: real estate, education, administration…
• To welcome the newcomers and their families at the tourist office in the center of Valenciennes,
• To make easier the first contact with the Valenciennes area with a welcoming package about the existing facilities (transport, health, culture, sports, associations…)
